CableGuard Elastomeric Wrap System

Davai exclusively applies the CableGuard system by D.S. Brown, a flexible, UV-resistant, and highly durable elastomeric wrap designed to seal cable surfaces against moisture and air intrusion. The system maintains elasticity across temperature fluctuations and can be supplied in custom colors to meet visual or regulatory requirements.

As a certified distributor and installer, we ensure full compliance with manufacturer specifications, and deliver added value through practical enhancements developed in-house.

Application Expertise & Tools

Decades of field experience have allowed Davai to refine the wrapping process far beyond the standard. Our SkewMaster tools, designed and built by Belvent A/S, provide precise tensioning and alignment, even on complex cable sections.

To ensure proper bonding of the wrap, we use digitally controlled heat blankets. These units are PLC-based and include:

  • Real-time temperature regulation

  • Precise curing time tracking

  • Full digital documentation and data logging

  • Project-specific installation protocols

These features eliminate human error and ensure uniform adhesion and high-quality installation across the entire cable length.

Custom Access Solutions, Rope Access & Cable Gantries

Working at height on live bridges requires expert access planning. Davai’s teams are highly experienced in rope access, but for large-scale or repetitive work, we provide custom cable gantries through partnerships with companies like Metal Yapi Engineering & Construction & SkyClimber.

These engineered access platforms are:

  • Designed to travel along cables without causing damage

  • Modular and adjustable to different cable geometries

  • Used during both installation and future maintenance

  • Safety-certified and load-tested per project requirements
